The Dart was initially designed for Dodge dealers who wanted to sell a lower-priced large car when Plymouth was removed from many Dodge dealers showrooms.The Dart's first generation was in 1960. It was produced in 3 finishes: on the lower-end, the Seneca, then the Pioneer, and finally the highest appointed model: the Phoenix. The 1960-61s also carried a 3.7L Slant-6 (V6) engine. But one could purchase a Dart with a V8 and customize it with single or dual exhausts based on the purchasers wants.
The model had 5 generations altogether, finally ending in the 1976 model year as the Dodge Demon. Look for any model year in the searches below, but latch onto the 1960-61 year if you can afford to do so!
